Thanks! its the only one i have ever seen and that was a few years ago. this year if things go right i will be putting out a ton more insects and others. I plan to treat it as a second job since its what im most passionate about. On average how long do you spend out in the field? Do you work for your self?

Looking forward to your pics! :)

Macro photography is my hobby only... I only can shoot during weekends with my friends and we shoot usually at night in the forest. Last sat, i shoot from 7pm to 3am. But our usual timing is 10pm to 3am. I used to shoot alone until i meet a group of fun macro shooters last year... we've been shooting on a weekly basis :)

wow thats really cool you shoot with a group. would love to do that. Maybe i should start looking for people to do the same. Only shoot at night? that's a challenge

Day time and Night time have different subjects :) For night macro, we get to see insects that seldom venture out during the day... also they are much easier to approach! :) Of course, we shoot day macro once in a while :)

you just hold a flash light up to focus?

i had a small torch tied to my lens to aid focusing... :)
